My coworker is returning his just-purchased Formac Gallery Xtreme LCD. He's an artist, and is primarily concerned with color reproduction, but he also plays FPS games in his spare time. According to him, the colors and contrast were very good, but the ghosting was too much for him. I think the LCD is rated at 25ms, so this isn't a huge surprise. EDIT: It's rated at 15ms, grey-to-grey.
When I used the monitor, I noticed that it doesn't have the ugly coating that my 2001FP has, and it doesn't suffer from lag. Although the ghosting is far worse than the 2001FP, the lack of lag is making me consider buying a new 21" LCD, (maybe from Samsung.)
The Gallery Xtreme doesn't have an adjustable base, and cannot be wall mounted. The flexibility of the 2001 wins out here.
In summary, if you're an artist, and don't play any FPS games, this monitor is great. Just make sure you're happy with the limited positional adjustment.
