Form Factor queston: width of MicroATX vs ATX

I want to build a system around a microATX board and put it into a slim desktop case. The problem is that I want to put my Voodoo5 5500 in it as the video card. For those of you that have seen this card, you know it is a monster, which is as long as the width of a normal ATX board, i remember having to squeeze my IDE cables past it. I'm wondering is MicroATX is just shorter, not thinner than regular ATX so the card will fit. If the board is any thinner, I am 100% certain it will not fit.

Depending on the config of the desktop case it may fit. However, most only accept half-height cards, or the CD Rom or Hard Drive is mounted on that side of the case and would get in the way. It would most definately fit in my mATX tower.

Soltek Specs:

SL-85MIR2-L mATX (245mm x 245mm)
SL-85MR3-R ATX (230mm x 305mm) This board is a slimmer ATX board.
