Forgotten xp user/password can not be accessed

There is a user with some important files that will be deleted if we reset the password on a computer at work. The password likely has some symbols in it, and I am having trouble getting into it. I tried that ophcrack program but I only have alphanumeric tables, and it can't crack it. The more elaborate tables I have found have been veryyyy large in size, and have cost a bunch of money. Do I have any other options? Are there any places on the web that will let me upload the sam/system files or the pwdump to crack for a fee or something?
