title pretty much says it all - forgot my win2k password on my old old college computer - is there anyway to recover the password? any help is really appreciated! -ls

uh.. is the file system fat32 or ntfs?

might be able to delete the SAM file.. I think that works.. but i forget.

I have a Linux boot disk that will change passwords on Win2k machines. Let me know if you want it. I have used it successfully before on Win2k machines and I have not had a problem with it. But, I am not responsible for anyting that you mess up or do. 🙂

Edit: I found it by searching on Google.
