Like my dad, I seem to be experiencing the "oh, I know the answer to this.. we were just discussing this same thing.. it's.."
Yeah that.
Anyways, someone was asking about running Linux on a PowerPC or G4 processor and wondering about machines dedicated to RC5; in fact, we may even have been discussing it on IRC about a week or two ago(maybe it's in the logs)... the conversation also mentioned Yellow Doq Linux - perhaps that helps.
Anyways, the website I was thinking of is: TotalImpact!
Their current "briQ" product is not what I was thinking of at the time, but seems to still serve what we were discussing. I suggest contacting the company and asking about their older products as some were available as a PCI card with (4) G4 processors mounted on it, with up to 7 boards being able to be run in a single backplane.
Hope this helps someone!
