Forgot to take a test this past Monday

Felt so stupid when the teacher email the test score and I don't have a grade. I totally forgot that we have a test this Monday. It's 25% of my grade. 🙁

god damn, i'm really an FOB.
 
I feel ya man, I had a test monday also, I happened to ditch that day. Anyways teacher said I could make it up today after school and I forgot to stay after...goddammit!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Don't give up hope. If the prof. is generous enough, he or she may be willing to work something out with you, maybe do something else to make up all or part of it. Dosent hurt to beg and plead at this stage, at the worst he/she will say no.

I missed a physics quiz, I overslept, fortunately the prof let me retake it. I did badly on it, but at least it was better than getting a 0.
 
I've done this too...I made up some dumb excuse that I slept through my alarm...in reality I Didn't know there was a test htat day cuase I hadn't been to the class in weeks...well he let me take it another day...no penalty...I even offered to take 10% off...but he was cool...while I was takin the test he offered me coffee...and told me the story of how he missed his own test once because of daylight savings time...yeah...he didn't show up for his own test...made me feel better heh

Just email my prof and this is what he wrote back.

Do you have anything remotely resembling an acceptable excuse? The
schedule is published in the Course Calendar and has been since the
beginning of the semester. I can justify makeups for someone who is very
sick (which happened this time) and for someone who is stranded in Dallas
because of flight cancellations (which also happened this time), but not
for someone who can't keep track of his obligations.

your classes. I will not take responsibility for trying to save someone
who is getting poor grades in his major classes.

I have a couple of people coming on Thursday at around 3:00. Would that be
possible for you?
