What is the difference between the soon to be released 1.53Ghz Athlon MP and the 1.53Ghz Athlon XP? Aren't they both based on a Palomino core?
 
well i didnt know they where releasing both the XP and MP at the same core speed at the same time but if they are here are the differences

the XP isnt guarenteed to work wwith dual processor system

now the MP is

so most likely the XP will be cheaper
