when identifying a p3 cpu... sometimes u will find it classified as for example - "700EB"

can someone tell me what the "e" and "b" stands for? thanx in advance 🙂
 
yeah, those used the katmai core, and slot1 interface... 512k off-die half speed cache and a 100mhz bus :Q pretty much a pentium 2 just with some sse instructions

edit: bah cant use : o for shocked face 😛

i believe p3 b are katmais (512k half speed) with 133 bus speed.
p3 e are coppermines with 100 bus
p3 eb are coppermines with 133 bus.
p3 s are tualatins with 512k cache instead of 256.
