I've not paid attention to a lot of things dealing with PCIe graphics, so forgive the n00bish nature of this question... I was talking to a friend the other day, and he wants to buy a PCIe dev card for work, but he also wants to use his 9700 for gaming. Would it be possible to run an AGP8x card for gaming, and then simultaneously have a PCIe card installed for dev work?

Yeah, that's what I mean... I know there exist cards with slots for both, but it's not immediately clear if you can run both cards simultaneously.
