Is bad..very bad. Last weekend I was talking to my mom, and she mentioned that my step-father was getting dinner reservations - I thought that was kinda weird, because they only go out for special events.

I asked her what for......and she kinda paused......then it hit me - It was her birthday  Thankfully after a couple of "Oh Sh!t's" and many apologies, she started laughing and it wasn't a big deal. If there was ever a time to feel like an idiot, that was it.

My mom's birthday was two days ago, but I'm a good son and I remembered it. :D

Find a site that will email you a reminder when an event is near then program all the dates that you need to remember. That way you will get an email when it is her birthday next year.

Odds are you will ignore the email like I did but at least you won't be caught by total surprise.

my dad's birthday is on monday.

i used to remember everyone's birthday, friend or foe, and my old friends in high school used to contact me to tell them when so-and-so's birthday was. we had a section in the yearbook of movies that most resembled each classmate. mine was "calendar girl." :p

The only reason I remember my mom's birthday is because it's the same day that Win 95 was released

My wife reminds me of upcoming birthdays, anniversarys, etc. Not that that prevents me from forgetting, or simply inacting upon them, but, hey, at least I have no excuse.

:p

My mom's birthday is the sixth of July, but when I was little always celebrated it along with the forth. Well this year I went away for the forth and my mom was sad because she expected me to be home to celebrate her birthday. I tried to make it up to her, got her flowers, dinner, and a gift on the sixth.

Pffft... I still don't know what day my mother's birthday is.... it's somewhere in December.

And I'm 26.

I'm not even sure what month my dad's birthday is in... it's either June or July.

ha... last year on my mom's birthday, my brother took some girl to the movies and to dinner instead of getting my mom something... hahaha... oh well... my dad pwned him back... called on his birthday and left a message on voicemail wishing me happy birthday...
