Forget stocks...buy beer!

Heard this on the financial reports, local radio station. If you bought $1000 of Enron, World-Com, a number of others, three years ago, the stocks would be worth $4-$45 tops. On the other hand, if you bought $1000 of Budweiser (the beer), in NYC with it's 10c can deposit, the empty aluminum cans would now be worth $214. Plus you got to drink the beer!

I always knew beer was a good investment. Heh...
