It took Iverson 8 more shots, 17 more minutes, and he turned the ball over 6 times (kobe had zero last night). You give Kobe 17 more minutes last night and he scores 70 easy.

it's ashame people haven't yet realize the main reason why iverson score so many is because he has A LOT of shot attempts. his entire shot attempt is equivalent to an entire team's attempt. if you give me the ball 40-50 times, hell, i bet i can make 50% of that meaning i'll score a whopping 40+ points a game! whee! i'm good!
Too many shot opportunities or not, the name of the game is points...if you put more through the basket than the other team does, you win.

iverson played 50 minutes....including OT....took 42 or so shots....
kobe took like 30 some shots...and only played 30 some minutes....sat out the whole 4th quarter too...
iverson is WEAK...........

Yup and was 12-30 last night
. Iverson is better than Kobe plain and simple. Iverson's shooting percentage is in the low 40's cause he shoots 4-6 3s a night and is not a very good 3pt shooter. Why he shoots them I don't know, cause he's not very good shooting 3s.man... i don't understand why people criticize iverson for putting up points.
if you watched his interviews afterwards.. or read post game quotes...
you'll realize that iverson does not make a big deal out of it.

Well, you also have to consider the support staff around kobe & iverson. Kobe's got alot more help in the form of teammates than iverson does =\

Why he shoots them I don't know, cause he's not very good shooting 3s. >>yo....iverson AVERAGE shooting pct is 39.8%....he shoots 4 3pts a game...NOT 6....and he makes 1 of every 4 3pts. he makes 10.6 of his 26.7 shots a game....NOT GOOD. if you take away his 3pts, he makes 9.6 of his 22.7 shots a game....42.2%....still NOT GOOD. and why should he get slack for taking dumb 3pts when he cant shoot? he shouldnt...
kobe shoots over 50% and gets almost as many assists as AI.....
im sure if kobe were on a sorry team like philly he could score a million points and take a million shots.....but he doesnt need to....
cuz he is a better shooter and player
