You have to CHMOD the directories to 755, 777 to allow full read/write access to those directories. Use your FTP program to do that.

forget phpbb, lol i just decieded before i go all the way through with this...im gonna instal invision boards instead :D

It looks like something is wrong with your address bar, because it has some weird black junk on it. Fortunately, it's not a big deal, because I can still see the URL on the title bar :)

(By the way, it looks like the installer is still failing. You might want to check the permissions on the rest of your files, and make sure that your classpath is set up right)
