Trump now a friend of China's leader Xi. A full day has passed, and he would not say a word about Ford moving its new plant to China.
But its going to be the most beautiful, fantastic, greatest plant in the entire company. People will look at it and say its simply the best....no I didn't say that about a foreign plant I was talking about Trump Tower. I can't wait until two face speaks again. Maybe he'll send out Spicy to explain it to us.:p

If I am buying a car in California, it is probably lower environmental impact to buy a China made one than US Midwest or South made one. Most of supply chain is in Asia, including stuff like steel, so it's not like buying a US made car avoids shipping. Also, Chinese workers are less carbon intensive since they don't get paid enough to buy big houses and trucks. Also, by undermining the red state jobs creation Trump promised, it reduces the chances of Trump getting reelected, which could have all sorts of environmentally positive side effects.

Yeah, provide some evidence that the majority of the US car supply chain is in China already. The Steel is bought from US Steel and the Aluminum is bought from Alcoa. Outside of electronics and maybe some small piece parts, I doubt much currently comes from China, especially when adjusted for weight or volume. I already knew you thought California was the only state in the US, but the majority of cars sold in the US are not sold in California.

Dang, what a shame that Ford is now building in China instead of Mexico. More Mexican jobs would have meant less brown skinned people in the USA, peering in OP's windows!

Thanks, Trump!

only the best deals.

Yes, great job dumbasses. At least the plant would have been in our continent, reasonably within distance for American firms to be in the supply chain, and ultimately raise wealth with a strong ally and trading partner.

But then president Blunderbuss stepped in and turned bad into far worse all in trade for some cheap Twitter ego bumps.

Those workers have bright futures at Blue Bunny Ice Cream.:D

I can sympathize. Some of them probably knew Trump was full of shit.

Trump and the CEOs who put those workers in a hangar/on a factory floor for the cameras during his propaganda events are contemptible, though. They didn't even wait a year to fire those people.

I said wanna-be hipster, because you think there's something hip and new in holding up complete falsehoods as truth.

What you are is a DIPSHIT.

You're the type of moron, who, in your own words, goes on guitar forums and says stupid shit like:

"The only thing a Made in USA stamp guarantees is a much higher price tag, and literally nothing else."

And then gets laughed at/dismissed by all the people that know how completely false that is, and easily disproven- ie, pretty much everyone else on the forum! I know you're used to saying stupid, false shit on this forum, that's pretty much all you and your fellow lefttwits do here. But out in the real world, making stupid untrue statements is going to be challenged with facts, and called out for being false. And its easy to see how you run your lame ass as far as you can get from facts.

So you purposely misinterpret his statement and try to call him a moron. I doubt it even surprises yourself that you're proud of being such a piece of shit.

Those jobs were gone no matter what. Those morons who voted for him hoping to save their jobs screwed themselves. Now not only are they still going to be unemployed, they will now be uninsured as well.

Trump told them that he would save their jobs and also lower their health premiums by getting rid of Medicaid.

Now they have no jobs and possibly no insurance. Winning.
