Damn, I didn't know they sucked this much :)

<< Ford Motor Co., already admitting frayed relations with its dealers and employees, apparently should add its parts suppliers to the list.

By a margin of more than 2-to-1, supplier executives ranked Ford the worst automaker to do business with when negotiating costs, according to a new survey from Andersen L.L.P., a global management-strategy firm. The executives complained Ford didn't take suggestions well and lacked communication between engineering and purchasing, so suppliers got conflicting demands from different departments.

And whaddaya know, Toyota ranks #1 :D

Seriously, Ford could cease to exist. They burned through a sh!tload of their billions in cash reserves. The family took over 'cause they are pi$$ed they have lost so much.

And no wonder suppliers rate Ford worst, the Firestone tire recall has been a disaster, and they demand their suppliers to make cost cuts, rather than work together to achieve cost reductions.

No surprise Toyota won, most of their suppliers are part of their keiretsu ... ;)

I wonder how long it will take the Toyota Highlander to knock the Ford Explorer out of it's high selling spot.

Although that'll be kinda hard to do if the Toyota costs $3,000 more.

:(

It's gonna take much more than the Highlander to tackle the Explorer. The next closest competitor is the Grand Cherokee as far as I know in sales.

Toyota needs to start pushing the 4Runner again. At one point the 4Runner and Explorer were pretty big rivals. I guess it's different now because the Runner costs more and is more trucklike.

They shouldn't make such an obscene amount of Taurus's :/ Or have 20 dif. models of a single car/truck.

Ford sells more mustangs than anything, they are almost the best selling sports car...
