Ford plans to make an "extended Expedition" to replace the Excursion

Ford, the Detroit News reports, will spend $410 million to revamp the Wayne plant to build all Focus editions as well as the extended Expedition SUV that will replace the Excursion SUV sometime after 2006.

One day I will buy an SUV and then put a huge sticker on it that says I am a gas guzzling, vision blocking, lane hogging, dangerous vehicle + I don't use it for any other reason except haul groceries.

Well, either that or use it to tow a boat or something.

I've only seen a few Excursions in my area, the Expedition is much more popular. The Excursion was on the extreme end of the "unnecessary" factor of SUV's.

On the topic of terrorism, I saw funny stickers on a big rig today.

Instead of arrows on the truck that point to safe and dangerous, the left side arrow sticker said Americans and the right side arrow sticker said Terrorists.
