ford/g.m. having $$$$ problems?

Way out of the loop.

Mabey you havn't watched tv, read a magazine, newspaper, internet forum for a long while.
 
i always hear people pissed about their products.
personally, ive had a ford for about 5 years (was 5 years old when i got it) and im happy with it in almost every way.
on the other hand, a good friend of mine got a gm last year and is miserable. the roof paint is coming off, the interior dashboard lights are erratic, bits are falling off, etc.
according to the mechanic in the area, not uncommon.

i think ford is doing decent enough... mustang GT sells, the new ford focus is ok, although IMO the 500 is a flop, mazda is doing great, jaguar is also producing some nice cars, and land rover is doing pretty good with the new discovery. although lincoln is losing quickly to caddy for its american luxury sector and mercury is good as dead...

overall they are doing ok i think. not in deep doo doo as GM.
