I think it is pretty nice. It is similar to a lot of other cars on the road.

for the price, it is nice... tail lights are not a big deal to me. But for the price, I think it is pretty nice.

I would want a manual transmission though.

Gas is killing you? hehe. So the extra 3-5 dollars a filling is killing you? WOW!

It's a good looking car. I hate the little clock in the dash though. It's trying to be classier than it is.

I predict utter failure though.

Yes because buying a hybrid for $1500 more will definitely save you money by increasing mere 5-7 mpg.

What if a hybrid car burns your house down?

I'm not a Ford fan but the Fusion looks better than their previous sedans. It looks like they are trying.

My opinions: The interior is a huge improvement. Although, I'm not a fan of that steering wheel and shifter. I really like the rear of the car - really. The only bad part I see are the tail lights. A little to much chrome but the idea is clean. I don't like the front of the car though.

I'd test drive one, but it would take a hell of a product and some time on the market to prove reliability for me to consider buying one, or most ford products.

The 500 is a larger sedan that competes more with the Maxima and Avalon.
And at 9k units a month, it's not a miserable failure.

The Fusion is a mid-size Taurus replacement.
Despite the lower price, I still wouldn't pick it over an Altima or Mazda 6.

Honda Civic HX = 44 MPG freeway. Close enough to hybrid and MSRP is $13.9.

it looks good, that is until you get to the butt...damn, about the ugliest rearend since the aztec!

the interior, on the other hand is great looking...well except for that clock - is it now the ford infiniti???

the piano black is awesome though - more companies need to use that...i like it much better than the chrome/satin option on other cars!

If that was out when I bought my Accord I definitely would have considered it. I've loved it since the 429 concept.

Fusion = Mondeo, right?

If so, the guys on Top Gear love this car.

Ford Contour was a US version of the Mondeo, but the US has never had a true copy/clone of the Mondeo
