I've always seen those in pairs, too, no matter the make, model, or year.
Oh, and I don't know about anyone else, but my front row, which has only two bucket seats, has 4 cupholders. I'm using 3 of them for storage at any given moment.

well, considering that the camry went from compact box to midsize taurus copy i'd have to say that, at least for the camry, they've got their facts wrong.Ford has never really offered a proper midsize sedan to battle the Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata, and Toyota Camry
