see sig. sometimes the image is justified. my co-worker is driving a 1998 Accord with 260,000 miles on it.

You're talking about late '90s cars, this is about '07 cars. I'm not saying that Accords or Camrys are bad, just that you people are outright dismissing Fords (and other domestics) as crap, when in fact they have made great strides in quality/features over the past 10-15 years. The domestics of today are not the domestics of the 80s.

The new Camry finished like 5 out of 6 in the last C and D. I think the Accord finished 1st...but man...that is the plainest looking car. My grandfather would love it. Honda is the Buick of the 21st century.

I liked the 2003-2004 Honda Accord much better than the 2005 and then the 2006-2007 Accord. I can't wait for the 2008 version. But I think it looks much better in person than in the pictures.

I agree, Fords are better now, as evidenced by their Focus. Whoops, nevermind.

So your basing your thoughts on product that was released 7 years ago? Try again

No, actually I am basing my opinion on 14 years of working experience in the automotive industry. I've worked on both new and used vehicles from damn near every manufacturer sold in the US, and I have an extremely low opinion of American cars.

The Focus was simply an example.

The Focus did pretty good on 2003 and above models. All except the dumb ignition switch.
Pretty comparable.
