I have a van that has a loud noise that I thought was a bad tore upfront but it still does it after I replaced the tire. It gets louder with speed and is constant and sound like it is from the tire area. I was told it might be a ball joint or wheel bearing, and suggestions?

If it's a constant noise that increases with speed, it's a bearing. Ball joints rarely make noise; if they do, it's going to be something more in the 'pop' or 'clunk' category.

Pay attention to it while turning. When there is significant weight transfer going on, the noise typically changes. Louder during a right turn means it's the left bearing, and vice versa.
