Ford exec: Camry better than Taurus

Ford Motor Co. executive paid a rare tribute to one of his company's fiercest competitors Wednesday, saying the hot-selling Camry from Toyota Motor Corp. was a better car than Ford's Taurus.

"Very frankly, Camry is a better product than Taurus today," said Jim O'Connor, who heads Ford's sales and marketing division for North America, speaking to reporters at the Chicago Auto Show.

Now this is the best hammer to the bible thumpers who swear by domestic car alligenace and will not buy a non domestic car.... knowing well that a domestic car has 40% of its parts made outside US.

Ford GM Chrysler are a shame to this nation.

i like toyotas.....and honda for that matter, that's what our past 5 cars have been, between the two, before that we had a ford......
