Agreed. Quick product cycles and minimizing costs are of course very important, but Caddy and Chrysler have proved there is a lot of demand out there for domestic RWD lux/near-lux vehicles. Lincoln is a great candidate to tap that market. Bad, bad move by Ford IMO.

there seems to be demand for high output rwd cars lately, moving to FWD wont help lincoln at all...
Id be happier if i see 'em going away from frame-on-body than the fwd thing
 
I don't think the kind of people who buy lincoln sedans care much about whether it's RWD or FWD
