Forcing Win2000 to use certain drivers??? is it possible?

I have an old SiS 6326 PCI video card but the drivers that come with Windows 2000 give me an error. I downloaded the latest (from over a year ago 😉 ) but when i specify the location they're in the "update driver" section in device manager all 2000 does is search, and then use the default 2000 drivers out of the inf folder. Is there a way i can force 2000 to use the new drivers whether it wants to or not?

Thanks

Try clicking "Display a list of known drivers and choose a specific driver" instead of letting Windows search for a driver. Hope that helps...
