Forcing refresh rate in Quake 1

Is there a way to force the refresh rate in Q1 running in GL from a command line or from the console. Thanks

No. Depending on your card, you'll need an external utility to set the refresh rate in Windows 2000 or XP.
 
Thanks, I know how to fix the refresh problem in registry but the next set of Radeon drivers is suppose to fix this issue. I guess I will wait till then.
