Forcing Band to play state song?

It looks like some lawmakers have way too much time on their hands. Shouldn't this be up to the school? I guess they get state funds so the answer is no, but this is plain bullying...

Well, if it is a state school, I'd say that they'll find a way to make the school play the state song. But if it is a PRIVATE school, then I'm not sure...
