Forcing AA in Mass Effect 2

Well i tried forcing AA in ME2 through the control panel today.
Even at 2xAA my framerate is cut from a solid 60fps to just over 30. 4xAA is in the 20s
I know that forcing AA in CCC is much more demanding than ingame AA, but that jsu seems extreme

the rig in the sig. Using 10.3a drivers at 1920x1080
