I run a proprietary application for my company. It was written to utilize 3 bits per pixel 24 bit color. This was on an ATI RageXL integrated video chip using the microsoft native drivers.
Now, we upgraded our platform and have to use a PCI-e card. Windows does not have a native driver for and ATI X700pro so we need to install Cats. The only color options in the control panel are 256 color, 16-bit and 32-bit. I need a 24-bit option for the software to work. Is there a way to force 24-bit? Is there an alternative Cat driver that offers that option? Does a X700pro even support 24-bit? YEEEeeaaaarrrrggghhhh..!!!!
LOL. Thanks in advance, please help if you can.
