Forceware 77.30 on GeForce Go 6600 problem.

The problem is I can't even install it. An error message shows up that the software couldn't detect compatible hardware. What's up with this? I uninstalled previous driver before trying to install 77.30.

Looks like the Go 6600 isn't listed in the nv4_disp.inf file, nor is it listed in the readme file that comes with the drivers. That's why they won't install.

For some reason, this god d@med video card only likes the driver that came with it, which is Forceware 71.24 or something. Any idea why that is?

There is an updated .ini for the Go's lurking somewhere on the forum KoolHonda linked to.

The search button is your friend 🙂

The mobile nVIDIA chipsets aren't supported by the standard Forceware releases. You have to get drivers specifically for the GeForce Go chipsets (usually through the system vendor) or get the modified versions available on sites like http://www.laptopvideo2go.com.
