Reading the release notes of the new drivers i was really happy that they had eventually fixed the broken FSAA in most of their games with this new forced FSAA feature. The only thing is that i cant find the option to enable this anywhere. Dont spose anyone can help me out?

Well the reason i asked is cause ive scoured the ATI control panel and the setting isnt there. Ive tried custom settings in the 3D tab but nothing and ive checked the compatability sections and nadda there too. Im using a Crucial Radeon 9700 Pro and ive uninstalled my old drivers and installed the new ones freshly.

Display : Advanced - > 3D tab - > check off "use custom settings" -> Custom settings - > check off "application preferance" -> Set desired FSAA levels. If someone your tab is different, then I dunno. I use Cat 4.4

Keep in mind that the only games that will benefit from this are ones that don't like AA to be forced in the first place.

BFG10K: Yeh i know.. I play alot of Madden 2004, and before that 2003 which is one of the games that benefits from this "forced FSAA".

ForceCalibur: Im talking about the new feature in the 4.5 Cats that allows you to force FSAA. Check out the release notes for the new drivers to see what im talking about. Sorry for the confusion.

There is no setting for forcing. now when you set aa af in control panel as you did before it will be applied now for ie madden.
