My DSL ISP Flashcom couldnt handle their residential accounts, and now I am forced into the migration process to Telocity. (I am in southern Cal) I am wondering if there is anybody else on these forums who is already with Telocity. They claim to be good (of course) and have this special "Velocity Port Gateway" modem, blah blah blah...They said they dont put a cap on speed either. I have 400kbps each way now, so I dont know if I will go higher. At least there will (supposedly) be no down time in the transfer, and no price increase. Anybody else out there with Telocity? Flashcom was great for over a year, except for the 3 months I had to wait before the installation was complete.

Also, they say they will be charging me $25 for this new modem, but will give me the money back for sending them my old modem. I have a 3Com SDSL modem now. Do you think I could get any more for it somewhere else?

Thanks...
