force firefox to use specific charset

I'm working on this web based interface (barracuda) which forces utf-8 as charset, but that makes french characters such as accents apear as a question mark in a diamond. Is there a way to tell firefox to ignore the meta tag and use iso8859 char set? I'm not 100% sure this will solve the issue, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with that web page.

Yeah it changes it for that page but as soon as I click to another page or refresh it changes back. Need a way to force it. Perhaps not a good thing as it may cause issues elsewere but if its something I can easily toggle its not so big of an issue. I'm thinking along the lines of adding a line in about:config or something, just not sure what.
