Hi,
I've just received this nice new joystick, and so far I have had no luck getting it working.

My System:
P3 800 @ 992 with Peltier (4*C)
Asus P3X4X
Windows Me
VIA AGP, INF & USB
Creative Geforce2 gts
DirectX8 beta

I followed the instructions properly, and other than a program error during install, which didn't occue on a reinstall it went on fine. The first sign something was wrong was when the test screen came up, and nothing worked.

I restarted the computer and opened the game controllers app in control panel. It says OK in status. Go into properties, run test, but it doesn't see any button presses or movements. However, adjusting force feedback settings does have an affect on how stiff the joystick is. Numerous reinstalls of joystick make no difference.

I feel that maybe I should go to Win98 for which it's certified.

A silly question - have you powered up the device? Most USB FFeedback devices need their own power supply. I had a hard time with an USB force feedback controller, until I noticed that there was a bundled power supply sitting there in the box :)
