Force Feedback on Cyborg Evo (or any other joystick): Yay or Nay?

I wanna pick up a joystick to play BF2 and the Saitek Cyborg Evo has been getting great reviews all over the place, and seems to be the most recommended stick in forums. Well, that's settled. But about Force feedback? The one without it will cost me 30 bucks CAD less. Is FF a good feature or is it just a gimmick?

I generally dislike controller vibration on console games, but I'm sure this is way different.
