Force 4x DVD+R

The drive that I'm using is a HPdvd530r which is actually a liteon SOHW-832S. Is there any hacked firmware I can to do this?
 
My drive does 4x DVDs @ 8x, & 8x DVDs at either 12x or 16, depending on the media 😀

So is the HP capable of the same thing? But I have plenty of 2.4x dvds and can't really stand waiting 25-30 mins anymore for them to burn
