Also, kinda sad ebay went down the shitter, but they did it to themselves. It made money by being an AUCTION site. Then they got greedy and allowed regular sales on top of auctions. Now its just a store. And a lot worse than any other online store.

I buy stuff on Ebay for things unavailable anywhere else, and I only use the Buy It Now option, never bid. Bidding is a waste of time.

Wow, anyone going in and buying shares of almost any of those companies' stocks back in 1998 and selling them in the beginning of 2000 would have made a mint.

Tons of acquisitions have occurred. Just off the top of my head I know that Oracle acquired Siebel and Hyperion; Adobe acquired Macromedia; Symantec isn't on there, but they acquired Veritas; Yahoo acquired Inktomi; i2 acquired Aspect...etc. etc. etc.
