Was reading this thread on another forum speaking of do-it-yourself mechnical work, came across this:

If you have to resort to "righty-tighty, lefty loosey" maybe you need supervision. Know when to stop before doing expensive damage.

Like someone else already said, if you fook up a car repair, the worst that could likely happen is the car is stranded. If you fook up a bike repair, the likelyhood of crashing is much greater.
