For you WinCE programmers

Is there a way to rid yourself of the annoying bars at the top and bottom of the HP Jornadas with programming? I want my program to run full screen yet the book I have sucks and doesn't tell me how to do it, or MS is really sneaky and won't let you do it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
