can anyone find me the gear ratios on a 2001 taurus? it's the standard pushrod 155hp 3.0L model. i had it up to 160km/h today before i ran out of road, but i didn't have time to look at the tach(obviously) i want to see if it is just entering the peak hp range at that speed and maybe i can get it a bit higher before i have to put on the brakes. i really hate the suspension, the front nose dives like mad when you touch the brakes(at any speed) my alero doesn't have the gearing or torque curve to do 160 on that road(tops at 140 before brakes go on) even though it also has 150hp(4 banger though) but at least it doesn't nose dive. any info is appreciated 🙂
