For two weeks now, I've had a small, pink gecko loose in my apartment.

About two weeks ago, I saw him; small pink gecko climbing up my wall. I know he eats the bugs and spiders that make it into the house. That's good. I also know that the stupid things have a bad habit of crawling under cabinets and dying, where they proceed to rot and stink and you never find them! That is bad.

So I tried to catch him to set him free. He was too fast and got away.

Lather, rinse, repeat that last sentence about five times over the past two weeks! 😱

Tonight, I was NINJA FAST! :shocked: I got him. And he wiggled, and his tail broke off in my hand. :brokenheart: and he ran under the sink. Where he will now die. And rot and stink.

/I lose despite my best efforts

LMAO! I love those commercials! 😀 I was also worried about the GF; she is deathly afraid of the little geckos. 😀

I had visions of us JUST ABOUT to do the horizontal bop, and here comes Mr. Geico Gecko strolling across the pillow...and she's out of there in two seconds flat. And Mr. Happy becomes Mr. Unhappy real quick like. :|

This is funny. I had a pink colored lizard (little guy) loose in the house for weeks. I made no attempt to catch him because he/she was welcome here.

Favorite hiding place was under my "doctor's scale".
