I want you to clear something out for me. Reading previous threads I understood that there are 3 modes of HSR, that is 2, 3 and 4. As we go up modes the performance gets better. At mode 2 there are no visual artifacts. However that's not the case with HSR mode 4. People though claim that by forcing the maximum FPS to ~45 there are no visual artifacts even at mode 4. Could you please confirm this? For those that don't know how to force maximum FPS, I know that in Q3 the command is com_maxfps "40". I'm not sure if the quotes are needed.

Oh, one more thing. Do you have to make this *.bat file for every game? Someone stated that by creating this registry key Display\XXXX\Glide\FX_GL_HSR you don't have to keep making bat files.

Thanx in advance

Check 3dfxgamers.com BB under V5 support for a 100 posts about it. Look for one by nautis100(or something close to that) for the registry download. I did it and it put HSR in the tools but the values are backwards. Also in Q3 make sure you check "sync every frame" as it will remove graphical anomalies. Good luck!
