For those with the Nforce2 - Red Hat 9.0 supports it!

Though when it configured my sound it thought I had the MCP (vs mcp-t) but it got the sound and the USB and the 2COM lan! 🙂

Though for some reason I can't enable hardware acceleration on my geforce4mx 🙁

EDIT:

I have the 536ep intel HAM modem and I'm looking @ intel's site and they have a package for Redhat 8.0...can I use that for Redhat 9.0 or is that not possible?

Both Redhat 8 and 9 use the 2.4 series kernel, although they do not use the same revision (9 obviously uses a newer one). It may work, or it may not, but it's worth a try, IMHO.

Video drivers are a separate download from nVidia.

FWIW, I got the nForce2 drivers working on RedHat 7.3 without any showstoppers. The A7N8X was a little complicated, but works fine with both LAN ports and all the other goodies.
