I noticed many posts from people with these boards of various revisions who experience serious irritation with general instability and constant crashing in 3D accelerated software when using GF4 Ti series cards. A solution that may apply to some of you is disabling the Spread Spectrum setting in the Bios (i have f4 but it should be in others too). You may have to access this control by pressing ctrl-f1 while in bios setup. Disabling this option for me has completely done away with instability and allowed me to love my games once again, after 2 months of head ache, dealing with Gigabyte in Taiwan and California. They said they were well aware of the problem (but disavowed direct responsibility for it) and that the board would have to be returned to be repaired or replaced. They said that the problem was part of the reason they discontinued the product, and began with the 7VAX. Anyway, hopefully this will solve similar issues if others have not already used the same solution. Only downfall was I was just about to drop this board and upgrade to kt400
