SAMS club sells phonecards that never expire. They have a fee for payphone usage but almost all cards have that now.

It's 5.9c/min. They have them in 350 min and 1000min cards. And its from AT&T so you know they wont go out of business.

Great phone cards. I have had one for 3 years now. Its easy to call and add more minutes with a credit card as well. No hidden charges, or any crap like that. Good find. Ive been spreading the word since I found mine.

Those are a great deal. My wife bought a 350 minute one a while ago. It really helps our phone bill.

Yeah, they ARE a good deal... A bit of advise tho.. If you are like me and don't make a lot of long distance calls, buy the smallest incrament they have. I bought a 350 card late last year at the great price of $.09 min (back then) and I am still using it.

Beats the heck out of trying to figure out all these telco funky $.05 a min nights and weekends on jewish holidays while standing on your head deals.

My local sams has them in even more incriments that that. They are much better then those "$.02 a minute" that tack on a 40 minute "connecting fee." Used one of those to call home one night, talked to the answering machine for about a minute, and hung up. When I used the card again, 200 minutes were left out of my 241 original. The Sams clubs are a MUCH better deal. Don't be fooled by the apparent "lower" per min charge on the other ones.

My 350 min card was about $20 or 22- I bought it a while back. I had no idea it was a hot deal. And here I am crying that I miss out on all the deals being out here in the stix...

Fragerific, The minutes used to cost around 12 cents per. The more you buy now the cheaper they are. I even think you can buy less, like 400 and still get a very low rate of around 6 cents.

Another pre-paid phone card which deserves a mention is Bigzoo.com
I have using Bigzoo since about a year now. You need a few tries to get through to their 1-800# in the evenings, but it is 3.9 cents a minute and the voice quality is perfect. The billing is online, and you get a list of phone numbers you dialed and the time you dialled them for and also which number you dialled from! (thats a feature I like). The billing system is transparent and there are no connection fees et al.
They have a special account for 75 cents a month with local #s at 3.6 cents per minute and a couple of more 1-800#s. I would say it still is worth it with the 75 cents a month charge.
Net2phone has a phone calling card which is also 3.9 cents a minute but I haven't tried it yet.It has no connection fee either.

This is not a good deal compared to www.bigzoo.com - less than 4 cents a minute. I've used them for a long time, and you have use their web page to see a complete log of phone calls. The SAMS card or other traditional cards don't do that either.
The new service from bigzoo has a 1888 access number that is never busy.
