How annoying is the crap like "Fireman disciplined for saving woman's life" linked to typepad or "George Bush and his entire cabinet Caught Hanging out With Osama Bin Laden" linked to blogspot

Or these stupid articles on how to debate or how to this that are extremely skewed politically....

This is what causes a nation of morons to quote things that these bloggers feed to them...

anyone with a computer now considers themselves a journalist...

Ha, yeah, this drove me crazy for a while, then I realized that there isn't much hope of convincing people that bloggers, forum posters and other such "journalists" aren't really reporting news, but are reporting views only loosely (at best) based on facts and research. Since then it has been very amusing watching how gullible 99% of the internet population can be...it's like a contest, post the most ridiculous, hugely biased or just completely untrue story you can and see how many people are convinced it is God's infallible word...good fun!

The average age of the digg user is under 24yrs old. They are still at that age where they think they are enlightened with their liberal thoughts. Give it time. Once they move out of their parents basement, they'll wise up. Trying to talk sense into them is like trying to convince the 16yr old boy with his first girlfriend that he's not really in love. It's just not worth the effort.

Exactly. So much more fun just to mess with their little impressionable minds... ;)
