My brother had bought one of these about a year ago, so I really wanted one, but as we all know, Razer declared bankruptcy. Thankfully, they still have excess stock which is being sold via E-bay. Anyways, I got one, but it had serious problems tracking, esp. from upper right to lower left. I bought a ratzpadz, I cleaned it every other day, finally, I cam across this site, a razer fan site. In the general forum, there is a FAQ for common problems. One of them, I saw, was the tracking problem with the boomslangs revision 3 and up. Sooooo, I found out (info at the forum) how to fix this. You have to cut a few coils (I did about 2) off of the spring, and NO MORE problems. Now whether this will stay the solution, I dont know, but it works for now. BTW, part of the problem is a design flaw: the little wheel things that touch the mouse ball are cone shaped, so there seem to be some dead spots. The spring solution works for some (like me), but not for others. Anyway, I remember seeing people on this forum complaining about this very same problem, so I just wanted to help out.....back to some bf1942 sniping now!!
