For those that work 7 days a week, do you forget what day it is?

Im having a hard time remembering what day it is. On saturday I thought it was friday and was looking at the NBA schedule and wondering why there were only 2 games scheduled. Tonight driving home from work, I tried to get gas and was wondering why the gas stations were closed at 10pm on a monday, then I remembered it was a sunday. I cant remember anymore what day it is.

YEah, I was pulling 7 12s for a while when I was younger and doing construction (metal work), and worse it was in a refrigerated warehouse (dismantling and removing old pallet racks and installing new ones). The days would melt into one, and worse, you would go in the warehouse before the sun came up and leave after the sun came down. If it wasn't for lunch, I wouldn't know what a sunny day looked like. I had no social life, then, which helped. Money was GREAT!

i have a lot of college debt i need to pay off and i also want to start a business in 5 years, so i need to work as much as possible.

its actually not that much, around 65 hours a week maybe, I know a lot of people here work 80 hours or more a week.

yea just until last month my dad was working like 100hours... well mostly because he owned his own business..

I get messed up in the middle of the week all the time. Tues - Fri is a crap shoot if I know what day it is.

Not an issue until we change itineraries. After this cruise we revert back to winter schedule of alternating 10 day / 11 day (Eastern/Western Caribbean) cruises and that can take some getting used to. Of course everyone knows embarkation/disembarkation days. :laugh:

I get confused all the time. But I know it's the weekend because my cellphone doesn't ring as much with new request or jobs. So on weekend I can work in relative peace.

when you wake up in the middle of sunrise/sunset and its 7-8ish that's when your mind gets really out of whack, well, mine anyways.

i work a lot, funny thing is all i want to do during the weekdays is to go home and when weekend gets here, i want to be in the office. and my job is suppose to be very people oriented!

For a year when I was working 70-100 hours per week, there were a couple times I got up to go to work on holidays. I would totally forget what day it was, as there was no break to differenciate one week from another.

it's the same for people who DON'T work.

my bf is currently jobless and he thought that yesterday was Monday and Friday night was Sunday night. Apparently he's very confused at the lack of doing ANYTHING all day, everyday.



I am so jealous. lol.
