I don't trust those shows because they are part of the same series that talk about the Bermuda triangle as being some kind of paranormal phenomenon.

Regardless of the source, they are playing real audio tapes from the black boxes of these planes.

Pseudoscientific theism. May as well change "aliens" to "angels" but then no one would listen, right? There you go.

Heh. I have a hard time imagining that the government would allow the release of video footage and pictures if they weren't sure about something. Unless there's a more logical reason for us having access to that material.

Though, I'd really like to believe it. I don't think it's much of a stretch to say there are aliens, but to imagine them visiting us but not making any type of direct contact, or being so far ahead of us that we can't understand their method or propulsion.

Meh...I think they're out there, but I don't think we've seen them. Yet.

Anecdotal evidence is not empirical proof.

And "refuse to believe" is a good choice of words, just like I refuse to believe in Wicca or Xenu.

When you have concrete evidence, call us back.

damn, i thought there would be freaky alien sex in here.

you would think that after 50 years of coverup, the supposed insider astronauts would call them something less loaded than, uhhh, unidentified flying object.

I think what makes UFOs incredulous as a whole is due to the fact that we've never had any personal encounters with extraterrestrials. It's always some eyewitness testimony of seeing some creepy looking, or unusual looking light moving around in the sky. That proves very little. And the fact that there's so many of these eyewitness testimonies without any single encounters, makes the credibility even worse.

If you really think about the story as a whole, it's almost beyond incredulous. Some aliens fly several hundred light years to our planet... and isn't even interested in staying more than a few minutes, nor are they interested in making an encounter, and then whisps away with little more than a few testimonies or a few blurry videos at best.

Time travelers are more likly then ET. The energy requirement is essentially the same but a time traveler would not have to find this fleck of dust on the galactic beach we call earth, they would already be here.

I believe in UFOs. I totally believe that people see things in the sky they can't identify. However, I do not believe in little green/gray men flying around in pie tins. Aliens may very well exist, but they haven't visited us.

As large as the universe is, its a certainty that another intelligent species exists somewhere. Do I believe they've been coming to Earth and performing experiments on humans? We do similar actions on what we perceive as lower species. However, I find it hard to believe that an alien race intelligent enough to have interstellar/galactic travel isn't also advanced to enough to have developed non-invasive scanning devices. Also, human anatomy can't be all that interesting for them to come all the way here solely for that purpose.

I highly doubt time travel is easier than traveling between stars and that its energy requirements are lower. Time travel is entirely within the realm of SciFi whereas interstellar travel is a hotly researched field with plenty of theories and proposals.

There are PLENTY of UFOs. Tons. There is ZERO proof of alien piloted spacecrafts.

Why would anyone doubt the existance of UFOs? I even believe in the possibility, even probability, of alien life. I don't believe in any connection between the two.
