Haha.
This cracked me up.

Darn invisholes. Worst enemy in the game mayhaps? :D

What's funny to me about is that I was playing Arkham City last night and fell into an invishole. Didn't "Die" but ended up falling and falling infinitely with no chance of getting back to the game plane so I had to exit and restart. I guess the holes are migrating.

I don't like Bethesda games at all. Well, maybe I should rephrase that: I don't like Oblivion, Fallout 3, or Fallout: New Vegas. Bugs are definitely a part of it, but it's mostly because they're really boring, have terrible combat, uninteresting/generic storylines, and repetitive/generic environments. (There, I said it.) :)

That said, Skyrim certainly looks pretty, and is probably interesting to explore. But I don't see anything else going for it right now. *shrug*

Terrible Combat? If you're too stupid to aim a gun or a melee weapon then maybe it is for you. Generic Storylines? Give me an example, I haven't seen anything generic so far, probably because the wasteland setting ISN'T EVEN USED OFTEN ENOUGH TO HAVE A GENERIC STORYLINE!! Generic environments? This isn't The Elder Scrolls, you idiot, this is Fallout. The environments are just as "generic" as they would be in real life, and actually, they aren't, since they have regular life like locations, and have them more Fallout style (super mutants living in a building, raiders living in a building.) What do you expect? A fucking castle in a nuclear wasteland? Seriously, what did you even base your opinion on?

On topic though, now that Skyrim is out, I haven't really had any problems with bugs except for one time (an ice spike got stuck in my character, and it bothered me so much I deleted the character).

There has to be some sort of plugin or forum function that doesn't allow a just registered newbie to post in a thread 8 months old.

I can aim a weapon just fine. Doesn't change the fact that Beth's combat is clunky and unsatisfying.

At the beginning of FO3, the main objective is basically: "Find your Dad." No, I don't care about finding my Dad. He's completely one-dimensional and forgettable.

The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion quite possibly had the most generic environment of any other RPG I've played. It was a goddamn forest.

Seriously, what did you even base your opinion on?

Gothic, The Witcher, games that have soul to them.

Good to hear. I know my responses are a bit simplified, but those are merely my personal preferences, and I won't fault you for enjoying Skyrim. By all means, play the games you enjoy.

I think I also did FO:NV a disservice by calling it a Bethesda game and not an Obsidian game. I apologize for that.

Personally, I found the FO VATS combat the most satisfying I have had in a video game in a while. My eye/hand coordination isn't up to the standards of today's FPS games. VATS allowed me to play and compete against monsters in a game that I enjoyed, without forcing me to cheat or give up because I don't spend 16 hours a day in my parent's basement competing against teenagers in CoD: Modern Passifier. But that could be me. Skyrim and Oblivion combat just seemed bland and chunky.

What did you expect? it was voiced by Liam Neeson. The king of bland and boring. LOL.
