Don't know if it's the same for others but I signed up for a free month at Blockbuster Online 3 weeks ago. I've received a total of 6 movies. One never did show up here and I had to have them send it again.

I dropped my Netflix because of the throttling, going to do the same with NutBuster next week.

WTF I joined blockbuster a few weeks ago on their 3 movie deal and only get 2 rentals a month! I will have to look into this.

I've never understood video rentals.

How do you find four movies a month worth watching ?

I dropped blockbuster online about a month ago for netflix, I was a member pretty much from the beginning. But towards the end I was only getting between 7-9 movies a month. I would drop them in the mailbox on monday, and would usually get more movies the following monday or tuesday. That is ridiculous to me. With Netflix, I can drop them in on monday and get more by the weekend, that is all I care about, having movies by the weekend as I am usually too busy during the week.

Plus, Blockbuster's website is really poorly designed. In fact, the only thing their plan had going for them were the free in-store rentals, so atleast you get more of them now...

I use Netflix so I don't have to go to a video store ever again, so the in store rental doesn't interest me.

Most people have a BB nearby...and when you want a quick movie that is on short or long wait...you could go realy quick to the store.

Many families still enjoy going to the video store...like mine. So in addition to the online rentals...having 4 freebies per month instore is a hands down deal maker.

Not enough to make me switch to them from Netflix. I still do go to Blockbuster for the occasional instore rental, but I've been going to Hollywood video more as its closer and cheaper.

I never had a problem with Blockbuster online in NJ. I pretty much always get the new releases within a day or two of release. Most of my regular movies always come in a timely matter meaning at most 2-3 day turnaround. The instore coupons is just an added bonus. :D

My sister in NY has Netflix and she can't say the same. Most of the new releases for her is always a long wait.
